It is no secret that martial arts can be a great full body workout. However, many folks do not want to dress up in what they may view as a very odd sort of pajamas. Karate Quest Fitness is geared towards having a good fitness workout, having loads of fun, while learning somethings that may save your life someday.
As a Special Agent in the U.S. Secret Service I also wore the hat of Physical Training Coordinator, among many other very fascinating assignments. An agent’s job may appear glamorous at times when working with the President’s detail or protecting one of the many foreign heads of state that visit this country each year. And I have to admit that it is a very cool job. I can’t say enough good things about it. When you are in the Secret Service you are a member of a very elite and dedicated group of men and women unlike any other on the planet. In short they do their mission better than anyone. Period!!
That said, when you strip away the glamour they have a tough schedule that may include a lot of waiting around in airports, inconsistent meal times, lousy diets as they eat on the run quite literally. Beyond all of that it takes real discipline to carve out time for fitness when you may work a long string of 16-20 hour days and possibly hit three states in a single day as you jump from place to place.
